Day 71 – March 12, 2019

Sunrise – Tuesday Photo / Shiny – Cee’s Fun Foto / Opening – FOWC / Diurnal – RDP / Action – WODC / Day 12 – Spiky Monthly Squares

Two straight days of sunrises and let’s just say I am thankful that no two sunrises are ever alike. Just like how no two days are ever alike, and let’s just say thank goodness.  As different as the two were so was the day.  Although I am much more exhausted today, I can say that this day had a much better outcome than yesterday.  The only downside was that the temp dropped 20 degrees from yesterday, but the sun did provide another glorious blue sky this afternoon.  Enough so that, after a quick nap 😛, I had enough energy to put into action and do some clean-up work outside the house. I never really thought that DST really had that big of an effect on me, but the older I get the more it does seem like I struggle with the opening of my day.  I am just thankful that it’s not a lasting diurnal effect.  I do have to admit if it wasn’t for the time shift, I would not have had the same success with photos I have had this week.  This past Friday I was greeted by an already risen sun on the way to work.  So the padded hour has provided me with complete darkness when I leave and the sun above the horizon by the time I get there. It’s a curse and a blessing all in one.  Need to enjoy it while it lasts.  It won’t be long until I am completely blinded during the morning commute.  Sounds like a good post title (except I already used that one 😳)

  1. Love your sunrise, beautiful. Our clocks here in the UK do not change until Sunday 31st March, known as BST (British Summertime) until then we remain on GMT (Greenwich Meantime) 🙂

    1. It wasn’t as shiny as the day before but it was most definitely followed up by shiny! (I figured Rise and Shiny would have been too much a stretch.) Thank you so much for taking the time to leave the beautiful compliment.
