Friday Follies – S2 Ep 1

Season 2 you say? I am completely surprised by the response! We are getting new posters every week, and that just makes this that much more entertaining.  Who doesn’t need a good laugh on a Friday?  Welcome (back) to the Season 2 premier of Friday Follies! I have no idea what the logic behind the seasons is/will be! We will just have to wing it. Oh yeah, HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉 I hope you brought the year in festively and safely and that your 2019 be the best 2019 you can make it.

And now to recap the last episode of the first season :

And Now…. (insert drum roll) The esteemed panel of critics couldn’t decide between 4 of them so the decisive “draw from a hat” tie breaking procedure took place and with that, the season 1 finale #FriYayFolliePro goes to Sue from Nan’s Farm!  What’s fair is foul, or is it the other way around.  Just be careful, you never know what you are walking on. (The other 3 honorables were Sonofabeach, Heart to Heart and Mike!

Our first season saw a theme from one of our contributors.  Every week we waited with much constipation for his post to bring up the rear.  Butt regardless of when it posted, we knew it would be a gas.  So with that we have created the “BUTT of the JOKE” Blogger (That just CRACKS me up) 🤣 Lets go to the tape…

 

So maybe 2 or 3 of them weren’t passing gas, butt still…  🙂 (sooo punny 😬)

Many thanks to those who took in, or on, episode 10 and even more acknowledgement for helping to grow this bit of levity!  I can’t thank you enough.  Consider yourself part of the original cast!  

As we move into season 2 remember, there is no pressure to “challenge” every week.   You also do not have to submit on Friday. You can submit ANY day of the week.

 So relax and enjoy. Remember it is all about the Pride not Prize! Unless you have a competitive streak to you.

The Wall of Fame (see what I did there?)

I wanted to do something that is unique for the end of the season. What I would like to try is to conduct a poll consisting of the 10 Hall of Fame pride winning posts where top vote getter earns a nail on the FF Wall of Fame. So it’s simple. Review the Hall of Fame posts below and pick your favorite for the wall. Special recognition will be announced next week (with a special patch you may proudly display ((if you so choose, you won’t hurt my feelings if you don’t. I understand that many of you host an award free blog. Even though this is not your standard award!)) ) if it doesn’t work, well I will just keep it as is. Just trying to mix it up a bit (wouldn’t want to become predictable) 😛!
