Layed Out

Ultimate Stretch

I really do enjoy capturing action shots of sport events.  I wish I had the right lens for it, but this one isn’t so bad.  A group of guys were playing a pick up ultimate game, and I was able to shoot a bunch of pictures, but I really like this one.  There’s nothing like an athlete who gives it everything they have even if its just for fun.  And there is nothing like being able to capture that moment.  True story, not 10 minutes after I took this photo I joined in the fun.  I made the same dive for the disc, only my attempt ended in a broken pair of glasses, a separated shoulder, and a dropped disc.  Maybe its a sign that I should just stick to taking the pictures.  July 17, 2012
