Peeping Tom

Memory

I happen to be walking around when I saw this peeking out the window of this house.  I was worried that my movements would startle it so I set up shop and went to work where I stood. I kind of wish I was able to work around the tree, but as I was moving around a little the cat seemed to get skittish.  In fact, as I moved to reposition, it did and it was gone.  I was glad I got this shot though. Despite the tree in the way I think the composition is interesting.  I like how it feels like the picture magnifies as it moves left to right. I don’t know if that makes sense, it’s just the perspective I think.  January 12, 2012

  1. Thank you. I do understand. A lot of times I find myself seeing things I just don’t understand, so I try and explain it simply. And in all honesty, I didn’t see that the cat was staring at me at first. It was just looking out the window. When I reviewed the shot, that is when I saw it staring at me.

  2. I love how the cat is just staring at you. 🙂 And I don’t mind the tree so much. It draws my eye some, which is cool. 🙂 I see what you mean by magnify, but my mind doesn’t really get it. 🙂 You understand? I like this image. 🙂
