Would You Light My Candle?

Flames Getting Brighter

I do like candles.  I like them a lot.  There is something mesmerizing about them.  You can watch a flame dance for so long that time just seems to fly by.  It always fascinated me how the hottest part of the candle was actually blue.  And how so much light can emit from one small source.  I like the tricks it plays and how it’s movements are effortless.  I like how photogenic flames are.  No matter what the subject, a lit candle can add so much to a shot.FInding the right angle for this was not difficult because I took so many, it was deciding which one I liked best, and what it boiled down to, for me was, the simplicity.  How I really needed nothing else in this composition and yet it is still very interesting.
