There is an improvisation game called the human knot which is a warm-up, getting to know you, game that a lot of groups would use as an ice breaker. A few of my students engaged in one today and I just happened to have my camera so I shot some pictures not knowing if I would capture anything interesting. I think I did with this black and white shot and I am pleased with it. I liked this better than the color ones that I took. It’s the first time I have taken a shot with people as the subject as well, and I am happy about that. Oh and for reference the idea of the game is that you put your hands in a circle and grab a random hand. This forms a human knot which then, as a group, you need to solve by untying the know without letting go of hands. Kind of like Twister, standing up. January 11, 2012
