Black Mountain Side

Day 60 – March 1, 2019

Yep, it snowed. Hello March.  Although we were saved another snow day as it wasn’t bad enough to close schools all the way down.  But as I write we are being hit with another round of the lovely winter precip. And expecting a bigger round on Sunday, so winter.. yay 🙄  I have had a number of offers to trade hot desert winds for a taste of the snow.  Let’s make that happen.  At least I had to get out to get to work and on my way home I was greeted by another incredibly radiant scene.  One that deserved a black and white shot. That combined with the color should appease the challenge prompts. On a good note, the middle boy is home on spring break and he got here before the ice started falling.  Setting up a night of catching up on some movie watching.  Combine that with pizza and beer (he was eager to put his freshly new 21st birthday beer buying privileges to work) and a memorable Friday night is born.  Oh yeah, so glad to welcome back Becky’s Month of Squares challenge. I’ve been on pins and needles waiting for this month’s theme.

  1. Tell you what – you can keep that snow! I don’t do heat very well, either, so I’m not looking for deserts 😉
Hope your Friday night was a great one.
