Tune In Tomorrow for the Pilot Episode of Friday Follies!

Every now and then the flight path for BWI and Dulles happens to flow directly overhead. And sometimes, for reasons only air traffic people and pilots would probably know, the planes come in on a low approach. Low enough to be able to read/see the airline name.  I normally don’t see Qatar Airlines, pretty much ever, except at the airport.  So it was pretty cool to catch this one.  The sun was beginning to set so that made the suns reflection more vibrant and defined.  If you look below, I was able to zoom in a bit more and capture the the bird in better detail.  I also caught an American Airlines plane before I headed out.  Not sure if American is a friend or an opponent of Qatar. But considering that the airplane above is a Cargo jet, I wouldn’t think there is too much competition for passengers.  All I know is that I would love to be able to jump on any flight and enjoy an escapade. That would really come at a good time and be so welcomed.  Oh well, it’s a nice thought. Enjoy some positive mojo for your Friday!
