Off the Beaten Track

Driveway Away

I really do love going out daily with the sole purpose of just taking pictures.  It really is only at this time that I allow myself to really just tune life’s daily distractions out and observe things around me from a different perspective. Sometimes I don’t even have to change perspective, just open my eyes and I see things that I never have before, although I pass by them daily. Like this driveway. Right off one of the main roads, I can’t tell you how many times I have passed it, but I never saw it.  And it is such a cool driveway.  One of those that just winds about, has a nature arbor, and eventually finds the house.  I spent sometime parked across from it just looking at it (sounds a little creepy I know, but no one called the police) and really appreciated how special it is.  Maybe it’s a little much, but after missing it all these year’s it deserved a little attention.  July 30, 2012
