This weeks topic was definitely a challenge. I did not want to go with anything purple, and one of my ideas just seemed to difficult. But then, I remembered that I had seen this sign and that there were a bunch of the purple lilies surrounding it. Well those flowers were mostly gone, thanks to summer but there were a few still there today when I took this shot.
When I think of purple, I actually do think of peace. It is a warm, soothing color and one that can add a very classy feel to pretty much anything draped in its colors. Which is why when I thought of this sign and the fact that its background is purple, the whole idea of peace became prominent. July 29, 2012
