I have taken a couple of shots like this before, but I really love roads that are draped like a covered bridge from tree canopies. This was on my way to pick up my daughter from a friends house. I have meant to stop a number of times to shoot this, but I always felt like the lighting was wrong, or the trail was busy. But today when I approached, with the sun and the skies the conditions were perfect. I am also including a second shot, because I really couldn’t decide between the two, but ultimately chose this one because it just filled the frame a lot better. July 2, 2012
