Proscenium

Double Crossed

Crossing the Sky

Being Sunday and all, I thought it was only appropriate to post this shot I took earlier today.  The sky was so blue, and these crosses just stood out so brilliantly in the sky. This is the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Oxford. The cornerstone on the front right corner lists this church as one hundred ten years old, being built in 1901. Naturally, like most other small-town churches, there is no available history or timeline which tells the background and story of the church. It was founded in 1852.

I had another shot that included the circle window, that you just see a little of, but I just think this shot was more impressive. Especially with the lines
