Balance – VJ’s Weekly #35 / Road – Manic Monday 3-Way / Reason – FOWC / Flare – RDP / Trust – WODC
This was my classroom today. Reason being that the snow that was predicted came to fruition and as a result school was cancelled. It hasn’t stopped either. It’s a two part storm but there was no break in between, as was predicted (even though you really can’t trust those predictions.) It will be interesting to find out how much will have actually fallen. As a result, mobility was a bit limited so I had to get creative with photos today. So I made today a study day. My focus was on textures, working with depth of field and creating balance. All while just having some fun. My subject was the fir tree I featured. That was the only photo of it from a traditional view. The photos, at the end of this post, are from underneath (where that somewhat patchy area is). Of course, a snow day is not complete without a snow dog, and she has a flare for finding herself in the frame more often than not. I am not sure what I was going for translated in the photos, but I am sharing them anyway. It’s all I got today. 😬
My music selection for the Manic Monday 3-Way Prompt Roads is a song that I use to listen to quite a bit. There is something haunting about it (and the movie). And I also kind of like the band 😬. They have a tendency to write from the heart .

Ahhh – never a huge Pearl Jam fan but can appreciate their music and have a few that are in my mind and time stamped from when they were big hits-
And enjoyed the snow photos – 😉

There was a lot I didn’t like when they first came out. It took awhile for me to appreciate them. Thanks. Seeing that we were iced in today probably have to do another post with more 😐

It is the opposite here I spent after lunch inside as it was 38C not venturing outside until around 6pm Glad you liked the version I sent 🙂
