Autumn – Sunday Stills / Shelter – One Word Sunday / Wishful – FOWC / Horses – RDP / Concur – WODC
The signs are everywhere, except for the heat. It might be wishful thinking but don’t you think Mother Nature should concur that Autumn means cool, hoodie wearing nights and light jacket donning mornings? It’s as if she is saying “now just hold your horses, I hold the reigns here.” Stepping one foot outside, there is no doubt who is in charge.

Nature is definitely stronger than us. A storm of forest fire soon shows the truth in that! Our temperatures over here have dropped a bit now and shelter is needed for the rain!

Is it just me, or is Fall a slow starter everywhere this year? Not that I’m a slow starter (sometimes I am, LOL) but even in Alaska, a blogger noted that days are still warm and trees are not in Autumn mode yet. Hot here too, but change is coming! The trees around here look similar to yours, sort of a dirty olive green like they’re just tired!

Looking at the next 2 weeks, I would definitely say its a slow starter! That and the fact we haven’t had rain in quite some time, means the tree colors aren’t going to be as vivid which upsets me!
