It wasn’t just the gazebo that drew my eye, I just loved the view. I am thinking that the builder was feeling a tad antagonistic as they set the foundation, either that or they forgot a level, or just forgot that a typical gazebo should rest on a level surface. I would grant clemency but there is both a library and a hardware store within 100 feet of the structure. A little tough love and supervision may have helped. Then again maybe it was just pure rebellion. Either way it is a still a lovely view.
