Day 222 – August 10, 2019
Something Old Something New – Lens-Artists / Six Word Saturday / Differ – FOWC / Intrepid – RDP / Glimpse – WODC
Ever since I mowed down a huge chunk of high grass in the backyard, I have been catching more than just a glimpse of this years offspring. They are anything but intrepid. I am pretty sure they were much happier when they were easily hidden in the tall grass. It was amusing to see their little ears pop up over the grass, like the little guy in the back. And when they took off they had to hop to get out of the grass to see where they were going. I’ve been watching these three grow up this spring as they have seemed to make the tall grass, in the back yard, home. And now their markings differ enough so I can tell them apart. Good thing I am not much of a hunter.
Deer in backyard seem like such an amazing thing to have. Do you play with them often? What do you feed them? They do look super cute.

They are content feeding off the grass. They tend to like whatever I try to grow too though 😳 but it’s all good.

These three are just lovely, I love the one hiding in the grass how cute.
The other morning just as I opened my bedroom blinds I spotted a deer running up the field, it’s the first I’ve seen on my land in all the years I’ve lived here, though I was aware of deer in nearby woodland.

It’s great! Unless you are growing things that you actually want to grow! They tolerate Anastasia and the cats way more than one would think.

That is amazing, you’d expect them to run away!
