As a theatre person I love me some stage lighting, When I designed lighting, I really loved doing concert lighting. I really like the exposed look where you can see where the light is coming from (even though you aren’t suppose to.) The nest looking drum set on stage was the only thing physically present. Everything else is cast from projections on a very large screen. In fact, there are only two stage lights on the drums. The rest of the lighting comes from the projections. It was one of the most difficult things for me to learn how to do; balance stage lights with projections. It really is a very delicate balance. I will return to designing someday, but for now, I will just continue to admire others work!
