Fantasy Stage

Day 143 – May 23, 2019

Patience – Freedom of Expression /  Endings – A Photo a Week / Which Way Photo / Kammie’s Oddball / Scapegoat – FOWC / Regenerate – RDP /  Sanctuary – WODC /

This was a fun challenge day.  This is also the first time I have not used a photo I took today, ever! But I really wanted to find some photos that were personally attached to the prompts.  So bare with me.  I really focused on the word sanctuary.  And to me these demonstrate my sanctuaries.  What a better sanctuary then the beach.  Waiting patiently all year for school to end, signifies the start of summer and time to regenerate and reenergize for the next year. And with only 14 school days remaining, it cannot get here soon enough.  But throughout the year, one of my biggest sanctuaries, use to be, the stage.  Whether performing on (bottom photo) or directing (top photo), there is this piece of me that is completely at home on stage.  I find its the perfect scapegoat for exhaustion, but the effects are quite the opposite for happiness.  It is such a good place to be.

        1. What’s even worse is that our school system seems to think that having seniors graduate 3 weeks prior to the rest of the students getting out, is a good way to make the rest of the students focus more at the end of the year.
