Silhouetted

Like last year, around this time, our local high school does a show choir camp for a week which culminates in a performance for the community.  Both my sons are now members of the group so now I have twice the amount of pictures to take.  I enjoy taking action shots of groups and this one, out of the 600 or so I took tonight, really just stood out.  The number used top and back lighting to silhouette the performers on the stage.  Cyc lights were used to highlight the art hanging on the back wall so all the elements really came together to make this an interesting shot.  I really like how the girl in the back conforms to the tear drop on the sketched portrait.  It really just lined up perfectly.  July 26, 2012
