On my way to work this morning the smoke was extra thick coming from Froniter BBQ and I loved the thought of the composition enough to try and get a couple of shots. I was real happy with this one. I have taken a few shots of this roadside BBQ stand before and have even written about it. Typically, they get the smokers going earlier in the week, but they must have just stoked the coals a few minutes before this because I could see smoke from a good distance. The best thing about the smoke though is the hickory smell that accompanies it. And even though it was 6:30 am, I was ready for some BBQ then! June 8, 2012
