The Plot Thickens

I saw this interesting gated entrance on my travels today and tried to set up some interesting compositions with it.  I settled on this.  It really reminded me of one of those little troll pencil topper guys. Like this guy here. I still thought it was an interesting picture.  And of course I had to do a little research on Charmian Manor. I found an amazing site that really opened my eyes to the area.  You can see that here. But in short this is one of the structures that comprises a community called the Monterey Historic District.  Who knew that there was a theme park in the works for the area.  What I do know is that there are many more sites that I need to check out and possibly share here.
