Day 319 – November 15, 2019
Dramatic – Friendly Friday / Starts with K or L – Cee’s B&W / Prudent – FOWC / Incompetent – RDP / Accommodate – WODC
This happens to be one of the buildings in the historic Catoctin Furnace, that accommodated the kilns, which were very active way back when. The original builders were obviously prudent when building these structures as the area is pretty well preserved. Had they been built by someone incompetent, I am fairly certain they would have been completely destroyed by fire. I am not quite sure what the furnace is all about. I remember doing a post on it a ways back, and I think I may be too lazy to do any research tonight. Sorry, this isn’t a very entertaining post. It has been one heck of a long week and it really feels like I have been hit by a bus. I think I may need some rest…

No kidding. And how they lived without the things we have today. Life stripped down to the basics… Crazy to think that it wasn’t that long ago at all!
