Catch Me I’m Falling

Day 293 – October 20, 2019

Birthdays – Sunday Stills / Round – One Word Sunday / Horizon – FOWC / Forgetful – RDP / Anniversary – WODC / Day 20 – October Lined Squares

A pretty gross day as the remains of the tropical system have moved through.  But somehow within all the grossness, the beautiful scene of leaves falling from the color changing trees, covering the wet road like an autumn snow.  So I don’t mind the grossness.  I am not one to promote things on this site.  This is not a review for the product. But I have to say, that my little appliance pictured below, has been one of the best things I have ever bought myself for my birthday.  It is the ninja food grill.  As opposed to the regular Foodi which is more of a pressure cooker that also air fries, this guy grills, bakes, fries, roasts and dehydrates.  So on this 1 month anniversary of owning it, I have used it at least 4 out of the 7 days a week.  Tonight I baked a loaf of banana bread and immediately after, grilled some steaks.  Yep, I have my priorities straight.

Oops, I just remembered, I forgot a challenge.  How forgetful of me.  😛

        1. Omgoodness that needs to change. Not sure if you have ever had zucchini bread. My mom used to always make that. Personally I am not a fan, but it’s basically the same except you use pumpkin. Note my blogger friend Laura insists that you need to use real pumpkin, and not the canned stuff because even the can says it uses gourds which are not nearly always pumpkin, and I haven’t tried that yet but the can works just fine by me!

          1. I have had zucchini cake, and make pumpkin pie but the bread clearly (as you say) I need to rectify that. Maybe I’ll order some cans and have a baking session this weekend 🙂
