Day 306 – November 2, 2018

Drops of Water – Weekly Photo Challenge / Signs – Friday Foto Fun / #475 – Weekend Reflections / Tables or Chairs – Cee’s Black & White Challenge / 2 Nov. – Weekend In Black & White / Week 9 – Pull Up A Seat / Dry – FOWC / Friday – RDP / Taint – WODC /

I can’t make this up.  Well I could, but then it wouldn’t have happened. As soon as I saw the prompt “Drops of Water” the skies opened up, our mild 70 degree evening was tainted, leaving us in a 40 degree wet night, and it has been pouring ever since. It is obvious that we aren’t in for a dry Friday night. I ran out and, as you can see, tried to find some angles and lighting that captured some unique images.  I think I caught a few, and like yesterday, had a hard time deciding, so I am adding a couple of extra below.  I also took advantage the conditions and a couple of available props, and I threw in some chairs and took a couple of black and white. You can still see the rain falling in the background.  The gleam of the flood light reflected off the chairs enhanced by the wet, slick, surface. I also was happy with the rain curtain. There is no denying, especially when you consider that my clothes are soaked completely through.  The things one does for art.  For calmkate’s fun foto challenge, “signs”, I took one from my collection for Friday Follies and added it for hers.  It really isn’t a sign, but it is an actual response from a 3rd grader in Little Red’s class.  It is just too good not to share.  Have a great Saturday!
