Day 277 – October 4, 2019
Side Views – Cee’s B&W / Weekend in B&W / Alternate Version – Friendly Friday / Milquetoast – FOWC / Insanity – RDP / Yesterday – WODC / Day 4 – Octobers Line Squares
You can’t be a milquetoast to do this job. You need to be aggressive and go for it. As I was waiting in line for the construction lane to move, I couldn’t help but watch as the wire whisk wheel spun layers of asphalt up in dust. It seemed like such a simple process but I know better. I was going to do an alternate version of yesterdays post, but for some reason I was really drawn to these photos. Maybe it’s my insanity. Or maybe I am just desperate for new material. Or maybe it’s the end of another long week of school.
What a challenge combo!! 😀 Hats off for even using “milquetoast” successfully 😉

Thank you! Wouldn’t have even thought about taking photos of it had it not been for the challenge!

I’ll tell you why we can’t! Because Rocky Raccon came in through the bathroom window screaming “number 9, number 9” over and over again so everything was all Helter Skelter!

No. They are tearing it up to replace the old. I think that breaks up the top layers making it easier to break the rest up.

well that’s a word I’ve never come across before – milquetoast. Brilliant word, and as for not doing it in the road I am just confused as to what he is or is not doing!!!

I believe it was a 1930’s character Caspar Milquetoast. The definition is: a person who is timid or submissive

I believe he is breaking up the top layers to make it easier to rip it up in order to replace the road.
