Day 227 – August 15, 2018

Serenity – Weekly Photo Twenty Four / Wordless Wednesday – Twenty Four / Handle – FOWCFreedom – RDP / Spying – WODC / Navy Blue – city sonnet DWP

(just a moment of silence, please)

The first part is blank for Wordless Wednesday, so please take a moment to enjoy the silence before reading on. 😬  My goal today was to capture the one place I would go if I desperately needed serenity.  And I am pretty sure if this was in my backyard or just a 10 minute drive/walk, my butt would be happily sitting on the edge, feet dangling off the side and just keeping life in perspective and helping to get a handle on my sense of self.  For me, this is what freedom looks like. The ability to look out, and have the whole world open, with no obstructions, nothing to stop me from going in any direction, but knowing that, because of the light, I can find my way back if I needed to reorient myself and change directions, before whatever may be my next move.  It is a beautiful thing. Happy Hump Day!
