Day 154 – June 3, 2018

All-Time FavoritesWPC (5 of 7)  / GroundCee’s Black & White Challenge / Furry and Feathered FriendsSunday Stills

Coming in at #3 on my all time favorite list is this photo I took on Nov. 25, 2012 for WPC’s topic – Thankful.  Original post here.  It was a very appropriate photo for the challenge as I could not be any more thankful than I am for these three for making me a dad.  They have obviously changed quite a bit over the last 6 years, but they still have the energy to keep me young. And even though it still is three months away, and that it should be the last thing I should be thinking about, come September my oldest and youngest will be 3,000+ miles west, and my middle will be back to Philadelphia, leaving a very quiet and empty house.  But enough of that.  I still have three months so they will be the best three yet.

Even though I could have easily spinned Cee’s challenge into something that made the above photo work, I just felt like adding something I took today. The photo below captures a variety of “ground” and is very indicative of the wet and gray weather we have had for the last 4 days.  Only hope we can get back to some sun at some point, real soon! Also, lest not forget, it’s Sunday and that also means Sunday Stills Challenge! This week Fur and Feathered.  Give me an excuse to post a picture of Anastasia any time– challenge accepted!  Just a reminder, if you are looking for an alternative to WPC – Terri at Second Wind Leisure Perspectives has been building the Sunday Stills Challenge.  Check it out here!

    1. It might be a little overkill, but I do love that dog. I am really excited to work on the project. It is something else to look forward to! Thank you so much for reading the post and commenting!
