I think we lost half the trees in our back yard last night. The winds were relentless all night. Continuous at 35 mph gusts to 65-70 mph, its no wonder! Take a look at the collection below. These are not little trees. And what didn’t completely fall, lost at least 8 – 12 feet of height.
As I wandered between the fallen timber, I yielded to other obstacles littering the yard. From buckets to baskets, the collection grew. My only regret was that I did not batten down the hatches prior to the storm.

It felt more like a hurricane. The winds just did not stop at all. Just thankful we kept power!
