Out to run errands, I got behind a bicyclist, on the red bike, at the stop light. Being extra careful, it took them almost an entire cycle of the light before they felt safe enough to pedal across. I completely understood why, but the irate driver behind me, wasn’t as understanding. Then again, I don’t think they knew what I was waiting for as they couldn’t see past my car. I watched, in the rear view mirror, their face go from irate to almost embarrassed when they saw the bike make the turn and realized it wasn’t me causing the delay. Witnessing that is such a gift 😛. When I pulled up at the shop I was headed to, I ran into my bike friend again, except this time she joined the group she must have been trailing behind inside a sandwich shop. There isn’t anything really spooky about the story, just a slice of life! 👻
