This special road sign was for an event at my school tonight. I hadn’t started here yet last year, so this was my first experience with this event. I had heard about it, and my colleagues had warned me, but until it happened I wouldn’t believe it. I could not imagine an event at our little school that would draw so many that a road sign caution would be necessary. Suffice to say, yep it was. The school neighbors up next to the community college, with a parking garage, and not only did we fill our parking lot, and crushed every blade of grass that was safe enough to drive on, but the college’s student lots and the garage were cast capacity. All for a county wide open house that allowed the public open access to the school. I am glad it’s over.

As a Director of an open days festival I love Open Houses of places you cannot normally get into, but also with you on the feelings of when it is all over!!
