Slow Train Comin’

Day 288 – October 15, 2019

Back Catalogue – Tuesday Photo / Lines – Cee’s Fun Foto / Manner – FOWC / Winsome – RDP / Justify – WODC / Day 15 – October Lined Squares

I was inspired by Becky’s post for her challenge today, so I went to a set of tracks close by.  I am very happy to see that the trees are showing signs of change.  It really creates a more winsome, picturesque scene and justifies my decision.  The set of tracks weaves and winds all through the town, and pretty close to the house.  On many days, I can hear the train roll through as the whistle echoes throughout the mountains.  The secondary photos are the same tracks, just about ½ mile away from the location I was today.  They are shots from past adventures but I wanted to share them because that is what Frank was looking for.  I mean, to give you an idea in the manner on which they weave. There is a mile long train tunnel that carves through the mountain, really close by.  I just haven’t been able to track it down, or if I did get close, I haven’t been close enough.  It is one of those places that has been on my photo bucket list every year I have done the 365 (this is the 4th). Perhaps in the next couple of weeks after the leaves have fallen and revealed more of the landscape, I will make another attempt.  I have another 2 weeks of line photos to take.
