(Don’t Fear) The Reaper

Day 175 – October 2, 2019

Fair Play – Weekly Quotation Inspired / Service Centers – Weekly Prompt Word / Grumpy – FOWC / Unctuous – RDP / Gallery – WODC  / Day 2 – October Squares&Lines

It’s October and along with all the other things that come with Fall, the hauntings ramp up.  There are a number of scare attractions that encircle the area.  This is one I pass every day (it is actually owned by a former student and his family.) It’s pretty much the service station of haunted attractions. I didn’t really notice the advertising until this morning.  With it still being dark, they had a light cast from below, highlighting that central figure. Much like the unctuous axels of the trailer it hangs on, the clown comes across equally unctuous. (I used it both ways! My English teacher would be so proud. I think 😛)  Hopefully, I can get a shot of it one of the mornings.  Anyway, seeing it caused what started as a grumpy morning fade away, as the image of Zombies, totally fair play, covered in paint from pellets from a shooting gallery, filled the imagination.  How can you not love this time of year!
