Day 271 – September 28, 2019
Pick a Place – Lens-Artists / 6 Word Story / Rectangular Prism – Weekly Prompts Photo / Umbrage – FOWC / Languor – RDP / Initial – WODC
With temps in the 90’s and humidity in abundance, the brilliant, hot sunshine were all full of that summer languor. It was because of that sunshine, a beam of light refracted off the glass of a new piece of art, that I haven’t noticed in the last few days of my drive to and from work. It sits right in front of the town library, and right next to an auxiliary firehouse that serves as a small museum. My initial guess is, and please no giving me umbrage for not looking it up for this post, that its a gift to the town from the Firefighting Academy, across the street, that annually holds the National Fallen Firefighters memorial service. It is a gorgeous piece. I’ll share my findings in a future post for anyone who might be interested!
How unusual and how perfect for our challenge. Amazing what you find when you’re not really looking. Thank you Jason.
