Day 268 – September 25, 2019

Time – Weekly Quotation Inspired / Cyber Invitations – Weekly Prompts Word / Threat – FOWC / Purloin – RDP / Serialize – WODC

Today was one of those perfect times to be on a hike.  I don’t want to serialize the weather by pointing it out in every post, but I can’t help it this time.  The next couple of days seem to be perfect conditions to get out, so here is a cyber invitation for everyone to purloin some time and hit a trail! It was warm out, but in the shade conditions were great.  Under the canopy of trees, there wasn’t the threat of over heating which is great especially if you are a Husky! We didn’t go very long, just a short walk along the trail, nowhere near Maine or S. Carolina.  In fact, even though the Maryland border is only 2 miles up the trail, Anastasia was having none of it.  You can’t blame her, she’s wearing a permanent fur coat.

  1. Too hot to walk this week, high eighties, and even inside trying to keep myself cool, for we have pledged not to put the air conditioner on, but for an hour when it’s in the high 90ties. Besides, am in the middle of writing:)

  2. this is an awesome time to walk and hit the trail – but whew. the fur coat does add a challenge and so a little walk is better
and on a side note – one if my walks this week was miserable – ti was too hot – I was sore from yoga – and had sneakers that sucked – (new ones I bought last December on sale – they were for the plane and worked well – but not for walking)
    glad your walk(s) were better
