Silhouette – Lens-Artists / 6 Word Saturday / Magenta – Weekly Prompts Photo / Nude FOWC / Marker – RDP / Advice – WODC
This was a fun Lens-Artists topic. When I first started taking pictures, one of my mentors first piece of advice was to experiment with silhouettes as your shooting other things. I love silhouettes. They are intriguing, they can be mysterious, suggestive, and mesmerizing. Ever since I started photographing, I have always wanted to play with the human form in silhouette shots. Specifically in black and white. I just happen to find that style fascinating. But, since I can never find anyone who would volunteer to pose nude (I just used it for the prompt, I am not that creepy 😛) for me, I had to get even more creative. I took the first one today and then as I was scrolling through my photo books I saw this second one that I really liked. It kind of looks like it was filled in with a black marker. Or does it really.
