Spiders & Snakes

Day 249 – September 6, 2019

Traditions – A Photo A Week / Signs – Cee’s Black & White / Judicious – FOWC / Ameliorate – RDP / Zen – WODC

In this house it is a tradition that if anyone comes across a spider, after the panic has receded, a certain someone is left with the ameliorate task of exterminating the arachnid.  In the past I would typically apply a judicious amount of spray but I am not necessarily a fan of that.  Especially if they are big with cool colors.  Then I like to try and identify them before sending them along.  I saw the product shown above today at the store.  I had to laugh.  I find it a very zen-like approach. I am sure it would be a great product if they knew how to read. 😛

  1. I don’t regard spiders as our friends. What do they do for us apart from keeping us awake at night? I hate it when I spot one in the bedroom and then it disappears!

I try and capture and then put outside, and hope it doesn’t come back in again.

I bought a can of spray that’s supposed to deter them from entering a room if it’s sprayed every couple of weeks. I’m unsure whether it works!
