In Hopes Of A Garden

Day 218 – August 6, 2019

If I could have only one garden that I knew would grow and would be guaranteed to bloom and stay healthy, I would choose a wine garden.  The gazebo that has the roof for protection from the elements, as I watch the grapes grow, would be a must!  My intent would not be to drink all of it, it would be to eat the grapes! The juice would just happen to be a bonus.  Seriously though, having all of these wineries around, to the point where it seems that no matter what direction I go I am bound to pass one, why wouldn’t I?  Every grape garden I have seen are so neat and tidy.  The rows are so well defined and the vines climb effortlessly up the wooden fences (I know that is not what you call it, I just am too lazy to research).  They are not at all as bad as my vegetable garden got.  Even though it was not that big at all, it was so overgrown a baby orphaned elephant could get lost😛 What I never knew until now was how they get all the bottles to put the juice into!
