The Days Of Wine And Roses

Day 215 – August 3, 2019

Take a Break – Lens-Artists / Six Word Saturday /Sepia – Weekly Prompts Photo / Blasphemy – FOWC / Transition – RDP / Infatuation – WODC

I don’t know about you, but I feel like I talk a lot about how I like to “take a break”. To the point where no transition to it is necessary, just be there. Quite frankly, anywhere I can not think about responsibilities for a few moments, or just escape, is all I need.  Of course, it doesn’t hurt if there is a way to quench the thirst, be it ocean water or wine 😛. At the risk of blasphemy, I am not much into that alcohol scene anymore so I will just settle for the ocean water (you would think I am a little infatuated with the ocean or something). In honor of shark week (it is a thing in the states) I would like to present to you my latest capture of a new threat that is lurking in the waters off the beach.  I may have had a little too much fun with this:

The first is a reflection from underneath the water.  I have never had that happen before.  The perspective really makes it look like it is so much bigger than it was. Which wasn’t more than 2 inches across the apron.  (I may also be posting squares for a little bit longer, at least until I remember that I don’t have to do it anymore).

  1. That’s very cool (pun unintended but enjoyed nonetheless😀) It almost looks like a tick instead of a crab. And yes, we DO have shark week here, which is this week. Unfortunately the real things are also very much present in our oceans at the moment. Many closings at very popular beaches 😱😱

    1. That is one large tick! But now that you say it I completely agree. It’s crazy how many more shark closings there are! It’s too hot to close beaches. You’d think by now they would have had something invented by now. I mean they have underground dog fences!
