Two photos, both capturing dreamy views that I am very grateful for. In fact, I would call them both pious views. It looks beautiful but don’t let that deceive you. It was hotter and muggier today then yesterday. So much so that we are and have been under a severe heat warning until tomorrow at 8pm. Which is why the golf courses empty and I was shooting from my car. Even as I write this at 10:30pm, the heat index is 92 F (33.33 Celsius). I sent the drone up to get the shot on the right. It is hovering right over the house and facing South. From this angle I even caught the moon which was just starting to become visible in the evening light. It’s views like this that I get everyday that keep me from moving to the beach.

Gorgeous views at your doorstep – but oh, the heat! I hope you can stay inside and keep cool. How can the green stay that green in such terrible heat?

It is so humid that grass can’t even start to dry out. It needs to break soon. It was 90 f (32 c) this morning at 9am.

Double edged sword I tell you! Can’t have everything. (Actually I know some mountaintops with great views that would not ever get this hot I could go to! Nowhere near me though)
