If this view doesn’t warm the soul, I don’t know what will. I just like that it covers all the prompts, and I really shouldn’t have to use them in my narrative. It is time for carnival season to start up. Every week, a carnival will be held in a nearby town. It’s not a bad thing. Unless you live right next to it. I never really got excited about them. Not that I wouldn’t be tempted by the sweet treat teases I would see. May I just say these have to be the longest days of the school year, ever. It’s like they won’t end. And when I do get home for a respite, time decides to double just so that I can have to start another tedious day. Seeing this on the way home though, can I just say Been-YAY! Count me in.

First thought in my mind was Why would anyone fry Oreo cookies? I’ve now got visions of them sitting in a dish looking most unappetising swimming in cooking oil!

Yep. Same as everywhere. Although to be fair to our blog host Proscenium, that carnival location isn’t Deep South.

I am not sure if I am a fan of them as much as I am a fan of deep fried Twinkies. I have had to try them both once in my lifetime. (I think they took 7 years off my life!)
