I believe the title says it all, even though I once had 4 thriving rose bushes that were, for some reason, cut down in the prime of their life. But that’s a story for another day. Every spring I dream of growing a Butterfly/hummingbird garden in the front yard. Most years I actually rough up, the far from verdant grounds, and throw seed hoping that I inherited my grandmothers green thumb. And most years I do manage to sprout some seedlings. Unfortunately, it’s seedlings from the weeds that have choked out the promising comfort providing flowers that would attract the butterflies and hummingbirds (which happen to be some of my favorite things!) Oh well, I’ll just have to try again next year.
Look What I Found
The song got stuck in my head too! We used to have a butterfly garden before the extra rooms were tagged on at the back. There always seemed to be caterpillars crawling up the house wall, I could never work out why they weren’t in the garden making holes in leaves!

Well, I’m impressed. My gardening hasn’t progressed beyond the envisioning stage, lol.

🤣 I wouldn’t. Those were packets from like 3 years ago that fell off the porch and I am just too lazy to pick them up. 😂🤣

The title of your post had me singing the song Rose Garden. No green thumb for me either.
