Spark Of Creation

Day 155 – June 4, 2019

Ancient – Tuesday Photo / Smiles – Cee’s Fun Foto / Awesome – FOWC / Line – RDP / Rope – WODC

I live near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.  The most ancient I can get is 1700’s which I don’t believe falls into the category. So I am going to have to do what I usually do – Punt.  The top photo is what I took today.  It has nothing really to do with any of the challenges, except for maybe you could justify by saying that a picture of a church is a symbol of ancient times when the church was the thing in Greek/Roman days.  But for me it was just an awesome shot with the white steeple standing out against the gray sky.  So I decided to dig back into my ancient files (hence the poor quality) and dig out something from 10 years ago.  It’s my son, in a 3rd grade concert, playing the part of the ancient character of Noah.  It was his first taste of “fame”.  We had to keep his fans back behind a rope as they formed a line for him to sign autographs after.  Not really, but it brought a smile to my face.

  1. I live near Princeton, New Jersey. Nothing ancient here either. I think we would have to move out West or to South America to find anything ancient in the Americas. 🙂

I love the photorgaphy. I’ve already used images of Princeton University, George Washington’s home in Rockingham, and the chucrh in previous challenges. I struck out.

    1. Good to hear that I am not the only one! Thank you much for the comment!

That is one part of New Jersey that I don’t mind visiting! I n need to get to Philly to get more historical, but I’ve taken tons of pics there too!

  2. Love your ancient photos!
I also love being nosey and reading other people’s messages. Hope you got all your photos sorted and documents sent.
Sending them inserted in Word documents often helps because the recipient has an option of saving inserted photos individually as pictures. Another option is saving in WordPress and sending the link to your friend who then has an option of saving to own files.
Anyway, you’re probably sorted by now so just ignore me! 😀

        1. I don’t think it can be called nosey. I mean I guess if we didn’t want are comments read by others we shouldn’t post publicly 😛😂. (Maybe I intended for you to read it 😉)😬

  3. Did Anastasia get Scrappy’s email ok? We were experiencing problems with the file you sent as in, we can’t open it at all. Are you able to ask Anastasia to perhaps copy and paste directly into the email as well as many images she attached to the original file? 🙂

          1. Brilliant, all words through no problem, but you didn’t attach the images, and if you did, the descriptions are the only thing that is displaying as the photo’s are not 🙂

          2. PDF has come through, but for whatever reason, it will not enable me to do anything – it is really weird as normally l can open them and am instantly able to enable and start work.
