Not sure what, if any, festival was happening today, but as I was out I ran into a small crowd of people gathered around a garage. Quizzicaly, I made my way to see what the show was. Turned out, it was a sword making demonstration and these folks were pouring molten steel into molds of various patterns. I had to have been about 50 feet away, but I most definitely could feel the heat. It virtually felt like my face was in an oven. Made sense why they were handling it very delicately. I didn’t stick around to see any results, I had to get home and draw my eyebrows back in.
