Diamond Dogs

Day 118 – April 28, 2019

It’s a Dogs Life – Sunday Stills / Tower – One Word Sunday / Bucolic – FOWC / Warp – RDP / Peculiar – WODC

It didn’t really start out nice today. But we did manage to to grab a little hazy sun this afternoon. Any chance to feature Anastasia, you don’t have to ask me twice.  It is most definitely a dogs life and what better sample of her life then the series above.  From watching over the homestead, to an afternoon nap, and finishing up with a little photo op, she definitely has it down.  Especially when we get a chance to get out to take a drive out through the bucolic scenery of Gettysburg after seeing the one word prompt, she’s at the ready.  .  I had a warped idea that I would be able to take a photo with her up in the observation tower to answer the prompt in one photo, but there were people, a sign that said no dogs, and with a park ranger close by, I decided not to risk it. I was already probably looking peculiar after my third time circling back.  If they knew me, it wouldn’t be peculiar at all.

  1. I just totally had a flashback to when my dad and I climbed to the top of that tower, and laughed at my mom and brother down below, who were too scared to climb it. They missed a great view.

Thanks for helping me remember that.
