Puttin’ My Eggs In One Basket

Day 110 – April 20, 2019

Creativity – Lens-Artists / 6 Word Saturday /  Sphere – Weekly Prompts Photo /      Hoopla – FOWCEgg – RDP / Longing – WODC

I have to post this today.  It kind of goes against my own rules but I did take photos today, I just chose to use an old one instead of any of the ones I took.  I just couldn’t fit them in to the prompts, but this one satisfies them all.  I am pretty sure this was taken about 10 years ago, back when the kids were super excited for Easter morning.  After coloring eggs the night before, I set them out in order for the easter bunny (no comments) to hide them.  The bunny is a very creative bunny as they would hide them in some pretty far out places.  I can also say that even last year my daughter was the lone seeker and the bunny still showed up.  Now with all the kids gone, no grandkids in the near future, I am kind of longing for that hoopla that is Easter morning.  That or I am just really craving a chocolate bunny or jelly beans or whatever else would be crammed into their baskets. I do think I will be boiling some eggs tomorrow for sure.  I’ll be damned if I go without having one of those tomorrow.

  1. Fun and a bit bringing tears to my eyes – I so miss those days when Easter meant so much creativity with the chíldren. No grand children here either – I don’t decorate that much anymore with feathers and such. Lovely memory shot.

  2. LOL, I’m sure there are moms and dads out there even as we speak making sure the Easter Bunny is doing his job! I used to love coloring the eggs at Easter time – and especially eating them Easter morning! Fun response this week Proscenium
