If I can’t get away for spring break, I compromised and went somewhere where I can watch people get away. I haven’t ever shot at Gettysburg’s little airport. I have gone there just to watch the traffic, a few times, but never took photos. With the sun shining bright, and the air warm, everything just clicked. Except for one little problem. In the hour or so I hung out, not a single plane took off or arrived. Reminiscent of a very poor weather day, except the weather wasn’t bad at all. The little glider air strip, that I live near, had more action. Maybe the airport just isn’t prone to a lot of flights, but with that view to look into when you take off – Why?

Love the pictures though!! It is a bit odd that no planes came or went during that time…must have know you were on a mission lol!

I feel bad for laughing but the plans not taking off or landing made me think of planes with personalities deciding not to do the above because they are camera shy!
