–Wordless Wednesday–

But I think I need to quickly provide some perspicacious info so that you may pontificate the photos with a vengeance.  Today was a great day for a field trip as we headed to the fairgrounds for a career and college fair for those interested in Vo-tech related fields. It was the inaugural kick-off for what they hope is a yearly fair.  There were well over 60 vendors (the most popular vendor being the lone food cart!). My kids came away with some good information and plenty off SWAG!

Tales from Chuck Wagon

It has been awhile.  I last posted chuck wagon meals March 19th.  Those of you who may be hungry right now, mat want to put off looking through these.  There is a good variety of meal services here.  I must say I was impressed with the 3 “newbies” Terra’s Kitchen, Gobble and Marley Spoon.  Selections were numerous and all 3 sent kits that had the majority of the prep work done.  But that has its drawbacks as they are in the top tier of pricing.  Once my discounted boxes are done, unfortunately I will be cancelling Terra and Gobble simply because I can’t afford it.  I think Marley Spoon may have some longevity as the next 4 weeks of menus have at least 3 that I am interested in receiving.  Price is at that middle range.  Below Home Chef and Hello Fresh on par with Blue Apron and Everyplate.  Dinnerly continues to be the best priced but has the least amount of options.  They should be starting to sort themselves out and I should be able to start settling in on some regulars.
