Every now and then teaching isn’t a terrible thing, especially when you are able to, at the last minute, serve as an emergency chaperone on a field trip to Medieval Times. No school, free meal and some mild entertainment, a little more exercise, was a great symptom reliever from the everyday routine. Thank goodness too. I was not going to have an easy time finding spiky “shimmering” subjects. And I needed the rest. This place though. Bullseye. I only wish I could have gotten a lighter photo to see the jousting sticks hanging on the wall. Next time!
