Day 76 – March 17, 2019
Something Green – Sunday Stills / Circle – One Word Sunday / Division – FOWC / Bail – RDP / Empty – WODC / Day 17 – Spiky Monthly Squares
I spent the day chasing the rainbow, trying to set up photos for St. Patricks Day. I actually drove down the highway so I could take some photos of a tavern that is the hot bed of celebration for the day. In fact, they celebrate for 3 weeks during the month and it is probably a good thing considering that when I drove by they weren’t quite the hot bed of flowing green beer. The parking lot was empty as was the overflow outside tent. So hopefully, one day this week, the place will be overflowing with Guinness drinking, bail avoiding Irish party-goers, so that I can get the composition I was planning on. I think fate had other plans. It’s funny how that works. And you have no clue until after the events of the day have unfolded. I saw this through an alley on a street I turned around on. The flash of green caught my eye and, of course, me being me, I had to see what the flashy, shiny colors were. And not until I got on WP tonight did I realize that not only did I have a pretty cool photo, I had one that fit the prompts better than my original shamrock idea. Guess it’s a little luck of the Irish. I’ll take all I can get.

Those candles make it look huge when it really isn’t that big.

At least you got plenty of green – and some good circles. As you say, luck of the Irish. I hope some Guinness came your way too, in the end

They grow up so fast. My son is 25. Definitely makes me feel “old”.

I agree. I look at photos when they’re little and wonder (like all parents) where the time went.

And why did they leave me? I mean really leave me? You are closer to my daughter by 26 hours, than I am.😳

My son is in Baltimore. I hear you. I miss him just as much as I ever have. I do feel fortunate that my daughter lives close. 😊

Holy cow. Is this ironic or what? I am literally 1 hour from Baltimore. My daughter is in Dallas, what like 2-3 hours from you? Crazy

She’s about 4 hours from me. 3.5 if traffic is ok.

Luck o’ the Irish for sure! But no pics of green beer? We are surrounded with green so if the leprechauns try to pinch me they are in trouble!

That’s hilarious. No. I figured there would be plenty of green beer to go around!
