Comfortable and Cozy – Weekly PhotoConstruction – Cee’s B&W / B&W Weekend / Concise – FOWCLearn – WODC

Not quite sure about the cozy, but I guarantee they are comfortable.  Nothing like a good pair of flannel pajama pants to shovel some snow.  I am not going to lie, this inspired what I chose to wear to shovel my driveway. I added a nice thermal base layer so I was definitely cozy as well as comfortable.  There isn’t much to shovel here. It may be a stretch (when isn’t it) but I would categorize the shovel as a piece of construction equipment. This should be an easy job. As long as they use the border along the yard, the path will be pretty concise.  Unlike my dogleg right, on an incline, driveway.  I had to learn how to shovel that efficiently as well as effectively.  Needless to say, I will most likely be a life-long learner where that is concerned.  Oh and we got a lot more snow than anyone was predicting.  Caught the school system off guard and left them trying to figure out whether they should let the kids out early or stick with the forecast, ignoring what was happening outside, and riding out the rest of the day.  They made a very poor decision.  Guess even the school system’s wisemen and women have some learning to do themselves.

  1. Our school system seldom gets it right either. My husband called the superintendent one day, mad that in a raging snow storm, I was expected to get to school (a 45 minute in good weather), when three of the schools I passed on my way were closed. He didn’t get anywhere. By the time I got to school it was to find out that no students made it, lol.

    1. Living outside the system it use to be very difficult for me to find out about closings. I cannot tell you the number of times (before all the new technology) that I showed up only to find out that we were delayed or closed. So frustrating.

  2. Driving up my inclined driveway was not easy, though they said it wasn’t slippery… twas! And I don’t understand why people are so hesitant about closing. Is staying at work/school worth your life? Why wait until it’s really bad then get in an accident or get stuck outside in sub-freezing temps? It’s so stupid.

    1. I finished around 430pm. After that we just had that real light fine stuff that blue away or will melt as soon as temps break 32 today. We did get a lot more than they thought we would though

  3. Hey,

I’m working on my debut poetry book and preparing a mailing list. Would you like me to add your e-mail address please? If so, can you share it with me?

I don’t plan to do it like hard core promotion, I will be e-mailing you privately not through any software.

I will just inform you when it’s available and when there is some huge fluctuation in price (sale etc.), as on WordPress reader, posts get lost in stampede.

I won’t be mailing you more than 4 to 5 times a year, and that’s max. Promise!

And if you want it to share it privately you can do that through contact form on my blog.

    Thank you 🙂
